Lydia C. Pine

Lydia Carolyn Pine, 92, of 28 Draper Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Pine. Born in Middletown, RI on April 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Pasquale Vidinha. Mrs. Pine was a member of Jesus Saviour Church and the Rosary Sodality. She is survived by her son Joseph H. Pine and his wife Beverly Pine of Middletown, RI, and a sister Rose Salvador also of Middletown, RI, two grandchildren Lisa Sisson and Michael J. Pine and five great grandsons, Andrew and Jeremy Sisson, and Patrick, Ryan and Brandon Pine, all of Middletown.She was preceded in death by her brother John M. Vidinha and sisters Mary A. Ferreira and Geogianna Perry. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 3 at 9:00am Mass of Christian Burial in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport.
