Portsmouth, RI - Mabel S. (Lawry) Dube, 87, of 130 Cottage Avenue, Portsmouth, RI, died February 24, 2013 the day before her 88th birthday.She was the wife of the late Raymond Roger Dube. Born in Somerset, MA on February 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Franklin T. and Leah A. (Suprenant) Lawry. Mrs. Dube leaves her children Leah Carpentier and her husband Alfred of Assonet, MA, Paul Dube of York, PA, Raymond Dube and his wife Mary of Hudson, MA, Robert Dube and his wife Cynthia of Middletown, RI and. She also leaves her close niece Janet Medeiros of Middletown and well as seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.She was the mother of the late David Dube and grandmother of the late Leann Lawry Carpentier. Mrs Dube was the sister of the late Herbert Lawry, Franklin Lawry, Jessie Rose, Thelma Wilbur, Helen White, Elsie Craw, Florence Bickham, Doris Suprenant, Hazel Almeida, Margie Lawry and Marion Lamb.Calling hours will be held Thursday morning, February 28, 2013 from 9:00a.m. to 10:00a.m. at the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, followed by a funeral service at 10:00am in the funeral home.
