Manuel A. Souto

Manuel A. Souto, 65, of 1036 Wapping Road Middletown, died Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Fayal, Azores, on January 17, 1937, he was the son of the late Sergio and Adeline Garcia Souto. Mr. Souto worked as a laborer for various contractors. He worked at Salve Regina University in the landscaping department. Mr. Souto was a communicant of Jesus Saviour Church. He is survived by three brothers Antonio G. Souto, Mario M. Souto and Eduardo M Souto all of Middletown, RI. His funeral will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2002, at 8:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
