Margaret Alice Stepp

Newport, RI - Margaret Alice Vierra Stepp, 84, of 5 Annadale Road, Newport, died Saturday, August 28, 2004 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late James F. Stepp. Born in Middletown, RI on October 12, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose Parvo Vierra. Mrs. Stepp was a communicant of Jesus Saviour Church. She enjoyed doing embroidery and quite time with a good book, but most of all she enjoyed cooking for her family. Mrs. Stepp was an avid bingo player for many years. She is survived by three sons Robert J. Stepp of Newport, RI, Thomas F. Stepp and Stephen A. Stepp both of Middletown, RI, her daughter Judith A. Stepp of Newport, RI, his sister Alice Wright of Hanahan, SC, three grandchildren and one great grandson.She was the sister of the late William Vierra, Alfred Vierra, Rosaline Stepp and Mary Froais. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2004, at 8:00AM, from the Hambly Funeral Home Brick House, 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00AM, in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown. Donations in her memory may be made to the Newport Rescue Wagon Fund, 21 W. Marlborough Street, Newport, RI 02840.
