Margaret Ellen Esker

Portsmouth, RI - Margaret Ellen Lawrence Esker, 90, of 259 Riverside St. Portsmouth, RI, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at home.She was the wife of the late Wilfred M Esker. Born in Fall River, MA on August 3, 1913, she was the daughter of George S. and Margaret E Holt Lawrence. Mrs. Esker worked for the former Glencain Manufacturing Company in Pawtucket, RI for 17 years. She also worked for the American Insulated Company in Pawtucket, RI and at Anderson Little in the security department from 1985 to 1991. She had worked for Texas Instruments in Attleboro, MA as a Supervisor for many years, Mrs. Esker was a Past President of the 0-60 Club in Portsmouth, a member of the AARP, a former member of the Forever Young Club, a founding member of the Portsmouth Senior Citizen Center. She is survived by her son Dale Esker three grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren She was the mother of the late Wilfred Esker Jr. and Shirley Esker.Her funeral will be held on Monday November 3, 2003, at 11:00am, in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.
