Middletown, RI - Margaret Rose Cleary Farrell, 51, of 129 River Run Road, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 surrounded by family.She was the loving wife of Michael John Farrell for thirty years. Born in Massapequa, NY on December 19, 1958, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Sweeney Cleary of Tiverton. She worked for many years as a paralegal for Alex Cari Associates in Newport. Besides her husband, she leaves one daughter, Jennifer Margaret Farrell Daly and her husband, Ryan, and one granddaughter, Maya Rose Daly of Newport. She also leaves one sister, Eileen Cleary and her husband Denis Quindazzi, of Tiverton, and six brothers: Thomas Cleary of Tiverton, Gordon Cleary and his wife Dolores of Middletown, John Cleary of Tiverton, Michael Cleary and his wife Lisa of Tiverton, Patrick Cleary and his wife Carolyn of Middletown and Matthew Cleary and his wife Shelli of Little Compton. She leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. She was also the devoted aunt of the late Michael F. P. Cleary. In addition she leaves a large extended family, including her mother-in-law Dorothy Farrell of Middletown. Margie, as she was lovingly known by many, touched the lives of all those that have known her. Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010, at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Marys Church, Spring Street, Newport.Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contribution in her memory may be made in her name to the Roger Williams Medical Center Development Fund 825 Chalkstone Ave. Providence, R.I. 02908.
