Margaret Silvia

Margaret A. Silvia, 96 of Middletown, RI, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

She was the wife of the late John J. Silvia.

Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Virginia (Perini) Gramolini.

Margaret was a beloved homemaker who enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, whose laughter and happiness brought light into her life.

Margaret is survived by her son, John A. Silvia, and wife Lisa Hassett, of Portsmouth, her three grandchildren, Dawn McCrary, Joy Douglas, and Janet Buck, six great-grandchildren, and her son-in-law, John Glenn of Knoxville, TN.

In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her daughter by one week, Margaret A. Glenn.

Funeral services were held privately.
