Portsmouth, RI ? Margaret Mullian Lalli, 78, of Portsmouth, RI, died on Monday, July 9, 2007, at home. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Lalli, Sr. Born in Norfolk, VA on February 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Roy Fulton and Jessie Lukeman Mullian.Mrs. Lalli worked as a realtor for Aquidneck Realty and Century 21 over the years. Peg was the Past President of the Middletown Republican Women, where she had the honor of meeting both President Ford and President Regan. Margaret was also a member of the Middletown Morning Glories, The Newport Historical Society and The Newport Preservation Society. She is survived by her son Frank J Lalli, Jr. of Portsmouth, RI, her daughters Margaret F. Harman of Tiverton, RI, and Kathryn Jones of North Kingstown, RI, her brother Michael Mullian of Newport, RI, her sisters Sheila E. Mullian of Newport, RI, and Mary Patricia Urban of Warwick, RI and six grandchildren. She was the sister of the late James Roy Mullian and Gregory L. Mullian. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2007, at 8:00am, from the Hambly Funeral Home, ?Brick House?, 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am, in St. Marys Church, Spring Street, Newport. Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 5-8pm, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Services of Newport Bristol Counties, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871 or to Portsmouth Volunteer Fire Department Rescue Wagon Fund, P.O. Box 806, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
