Middletown, RI - Marguerite ?Marge? Frances Heller, 89, of 24 Marshall Lane, Middletown, died Thursday, May 20, 2004 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Jamaica, NY on July 5, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Harford Heller. Ms. Heller was supervisor of the supply department on the Newport Naval Base for 32 years, retiring in 1973. She was a long time member of Green Valley Country Club, past president of the Aquidneck Business and Professional Women, a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, the Former Court Madonna Catholic Daughters of America, the Newport Preservation Society, the Edward King Center, the Middletown Senior Center and the Newport Hospital Auxillary were she was also named Volunteer of the Year in 2000. She is survived by her son Frank Joseph Heller of Middletown, RI, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Michael Heller.Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 24, 2004, at 8:00AM, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00AM, in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown, RI 02842.
