Marguerite M. Spence

Portsmouth, RI - Marguerite M. Gordon Spence, 92, of 55 Silva Avenue, Portsmouth, RI, formerly of Lee Avenue, Newport, RI, died Sunday, April 23, 2006, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newport, RI, on October 4, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ellen Anderson Gordon. She is survived by her sons John Spence, Herbert Spence and Robert Spence and his wife Marjorie all of Portsmouth, RI, and George Spence and his wife Dianne of Kingwood, TX, her daughters, Grace Knight and her husband Wilber of Olustee, FL, and Marguerite Blanchard and her husband Alan of Portsmouth, RI, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Herbert Gordon.Her funeral services will be private.
