Portsmouth, - Marie Rose Theriault Weeks, 65, of 5 Karen Street Portsmouth, died Sunday, May 4, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of Arthur G. Weeks of Portsmouth. Born in Rockwood, ME on February 2, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Gertrude H. King Terrio.Mrs. Weeks had graduated fromThe Greenville High School in Greenville Maine in 1957, she then moved to the Newport Area in 1960.Marie was an avid Duckpin Bowler having Played in various leagues in Newport County. She enjoyed Knitting for her children and grandchildren as well as gardening and canning her vegetables for her family. Marie most of all enjoyed teaching and playing with her grandchildren. Mrs. Weeks was a member of St. Barnabas Church. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons Ronald W Little Jr. and Barry J Little both of Portsmouth, RI, two stepsons U S Army Major Arthur G. Weeks of Germany and James G Weeks of Boston, MA, two daughters Pamala Ann Little and Julie L Woolhouse both of Newport, RI, her step daughter Kathleen A Roche of Sanford, ME, three brothers Russell Theriault of Jackman, ME, Albert Theriault and Donald ?Ducky? Theriault both of Rockwood, ME, three sisters Melissa ?Peachie? Morrill of Greenville, ME, Evelyn Stern North of Windham, ME, and Catherine Kusztvan of East Hartford, CT and twelve grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Robert Theriault, Clarence Theriault and Florence Roy. Her funeral will be from the McCrory Funeral Home in Rockwood, Maine, with a Mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph Church in Rockwood, Maine.Burial will be in St. Joseph New Cemetery in Rockwood. Donations may be made in her memory to the Portsmouth Volunteer Fire Dpt. Rescue Wagon Fund, P.O. Box 806, Portsmouth, RI 02871 or to Visiting Nurse Services Of Newport Bristol Cos, Hospice Unit , 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
