Newport, RI - Marilyn Anne Doughty Gotthold, 63, of 195 Admiral Kalbfus Road, Newport, RI, died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center, Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on October 28, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Irving William and Dorothy Snow Doughty.A lifelong resident of Newport, Marilyn, also known as Lynn, was a waitress at Newport Jai Lai/Newport Grand for nearly 10 years and previously worked at Howard Johnson?s. She also was formerly licensed as a real estate agent. She is survived by her son Donald R. Fowler of Portsmouth, VA, her sister Lillian Gazda of South Pasadena, Florida, her grandsons Jacob Carello of Warwick, RI, Joshua Carello of Southbridge, MA, and her great grandson Joshua Carello, Jr. who was just born in January.
