Marilyn Virginia Arruda

TIVERTON, RI - Marilyn Virginia Cavaca Arruda, 72, of 68 Lepes Road, Tiverton, RI died Friday, June 17, 2005 at her home. She was the wife of the late Frank Arruda Sr. Born in Fall River, Ma on June 20, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mazelle Almy Cavaca. Mrs. Arruda had worked for Transcom Electronics in Portstmouth, RI for fifteen years as a tester. She enjoyed babysitting for her grandchildren. Mrs.Arruda was a member of the Evangelical Friends Church in Portsmouth. She is survived by her children Frank Arruda Jr. of Smithfield, RI, Fred Arruda and Kevin Arruda both of Portsmouth, RI, daughters- Kathleen Beals of Tiverton, RI, Darlene OKane of Portsmouth, RI, her brother Joseph Cavaca of Fall River, MA, her sisters Barbara Rocha of Little Compton, RI, Joanne Gonsalves of Tiverton, RI, Cindy Laliberte of Bristol, RI, and her eleven grandchildren Sean OKane , James O?Kane, Michelle O?Kane of Portsmouth, RI Brian Arruda Smithfield, RI, Stefani Arruda Portsmouth, RI, Amy Arruda Portsmouth, RI, Matthew Arruda of Smithfield, RI, Jennifer Arruda, Kaitlyn Arruda of Portsmouth, RI, Nathan and Ashley Beals of Tiverton, R.I. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at 11:00am in Portsmouth Evangelical Friends Church, 11 Middle Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday June 21, 2005 from 7-9pm in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, route 114, Portsmouth, R.I.
