Middletown, - Marion Galvin Beckers, 92, of Blenheim Newport, 303 Valley Road, Middletown, RI, formerly of Spartanburg, South Carolina, died Friday, March 18, 2005 at the Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center, Bellevue Avenue, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Charles V. Beckers. Born in Baltimore, MD, on February 25, 1913, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Helen Goldner Galvin. She is survived by her son Charles V. Beckers Jr. and his wife Susan K. Beckers of Newport, RI, her brother David W. Galvin of Ridge, NY, and her grandson Alexander C. Beckers of Los Angeles, CA. She was the sister of the late George E. Galvin, Walter C. Galvin, Daniel T. Galvin, and Evelyn G.
