She was the wife of the late Henry Perry who died on July 7 , 1990. Born in Newport, RI on Sep. 9, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Alvernas and Mary Rose Alvernas. Mrs Perry had worked for the John Drexel Family at their home ?Stonor Lodge? for over Fifty Years until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of Jesus Saviour Church and formally of its Rosary and Altar Society. Mrs.Perry is survived by two sons Henry F. Perry and son Francis A. Perry both of Middletown, RI, Brother Joseph Rose Alvernas of Middletown, RI, Seven Grandchildren , Nine Great Grandchildren , One Great Great Granddaughter. Her is preceded in death by her brothers Antone P. Alvernas and Frank Alvernas; Four sisters Bellemida Perry; Rose Souza, Emily Almeida, Mary Perry. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday January 5, 2005 at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport, RI with a Mass of Christian burial in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport, RI at 9:00 am.
