Marion Ormerod

Marion Ibbotson Ormerod, 93, of Lafayette Road, Tiverton, RI, formerly of 61 Cedar Avenue, Portsmouth, RI, died on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at home with her family.She was the wife of the late Henry Ormerod.The eldest of eleven children, three of which predeceased her, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen Higginson Ibbotson. Mrs. Ormerod enjoyed knitting and gardening.She is survived by her daughter, Carol A. Reid and her husband, James, of Tiverton, RI; a granddaughter, Wendy LaPointe of Swansea, MA; two great-grandchildren, Stephanie Lewis and Joshua LaPointe; and her granddog, Trouble.Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 10 am in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
