Marion Richard Reese

Middletown, - Marion ?Tex? Reese, 73, of 614 Green End Avenue Middletown, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at Hill Crest Hospital Mayfield, OH.He was the husband of the late Anne L. Vincent Reese. Born in Texankana, TX on January 15, 1930, he was the son of the late Marion and Lorain McVeety Reese.Mr. Reese served in the US Navy, and the Rhode Island National Guard. He worked at the Naval Underwater Warfare Center for 30 years retiring in 1996. After his retirement he worked for MTC Services of San Diego, CA as an engineer. Mr. Reese also worked for General Dynamics Electric Boat Division in Groton, CT. He is survived by his son Richard Alan Reese of Portsmouth, RI, two daughters Kathleen Anne Tierney and Karen Elizabeth Reese both of Middletown, RI, his brother David F. Reese of New Braunsfels, TX, his sister Anita Jo Angelo of Winsboro, TX, and two grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Robert E. Reese. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2003, at 10:00AM, in Newport Memorial Park, Howland Avenue, Middletown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
