Middletown, - Marjorie A. Ward, 81, of the Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, died Monday, September 13, 2004, at Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. Born in New York City, NY on July 9, 1923, she was the daughter of the late J. Steadman and Ruth Spooner Ward. Miss Ward was a designer for Vera Designs in New York for 25 years retiring in 1985. She attended Randolph Macon School in Virginia and Art School in New York. She was a member of the Middletown Historical Society and the Eastons Point Association. She was also a member of the Robert Potter League for Animals. She was the sister of the late John Ward.Her funeral Services and Burial will be private.Arrangements are by the Hambly Funeral Home ?Brick House? 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport.
