Mark S. Bissonnette

Mark S. Bissonnette, 47, of 24 Valhalla Drive, Portsmouth, RI, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at St. Annes Hospital, Fall River , MA. Born in Great Lakes, IL on April 27, 1959, he was the son of Anita Roberge Bissonnette of Portsmouth and the late Roland Bissonnette. He is survived by his mother Anita and three brothers Guy Bissonnette of Portsmouth, RI, Kim Bissonnette of Wakefield, RI, and Keith Bissonnette of Arlington, VA, as well as a nephew, nieces, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.Mark was a 1977 graduate of Rogers High School and then received certifications in automotive repair as well as gas and arc welding. He was also a Licensed Second Class Fireman. For the last 17 years he has worked as maintenance director at Oceancliff I II timeshare resort. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, who spent most of his spare time using his many talents to help his friends and family.His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 28, at 9:00 am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Portsmouth Cemetery in Portsmouth.Calling hours will be held Monday, November 27 from 7-9pm in the Connors Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the American Cancer Society in memory of his father.
