Newport, - Mary A. Corriera, 85, of Heatherwood Health Care Center Newport, formerly of 127 Wolcott Avenue, Middletown, died Sunday, January 12, 2003 at Heatherwood Nursing And Subacute Center Newport, RI.. She was the wife of the late John P. Corriera Sr. Born in Newport, RI on October 17, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Deulinda Perry Silvia. Mrs. Corriera was a communicant of Jesus Saviour Church and was a member of the Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Middletown Senior Citizens Center. She is survived by her son John P. Corriera Jr. of North Kingstown, RI, and her daughter Ann Burke of Middletown, RI, and two sisters Elise Perry and Alice Augustus both of Middletown, RI, and 3 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Manuel P. Silvia and a sister Deulinda Silvia Nunes. Her funeral will be held Thursday, January 16, 2003 at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport.
