Mary Agnes Coleman

COVENTRY, RI - Mary Agnes Brennan Coleman, 94, most recently of Riverview Nursing Home, Coventry, RI formerly of Pope Street, Newport and Stone Gate Drive, Coventry, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Riverview Nursing Home, Coventry, RI. She was the wife of the late John Francis Coleman. Born in Newport, Rhode Island on January 15, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Patrick James and Johannah Golden Brennan.Mrs. Coleman had worked as a practical nurse for many local prominent families for over 60 years, retiring in 1989. Mrs. Coleman enjoyed doing arts and crafts and cooking. She is survived by her children Joseph Coleman of Greene, RI, Michael Coleman of Jacksonville, NC, John Coleman of San Diego, CA, Patricia Ann Hanson of North Providence, RI, Theresa J.M. Perry of Coventry, RI and Cecilia G. Shupe of Wharton, NJ, her sister Theresa Burke of Newport, RI, and eighteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her two brothers John and Joseph Brennan. Her funeral services were private.
