She was the wife of Joseph Cordeiro DoVale. Born in Sao Miguel, AZORES on Mar. 26, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Sousa and Maria DaTrindade Sousa. Mrs. doVale worked as a stitcher for Priscillas Sports wear company in Bristol, RI for many years. She was a member of Saint Anthony?s Church, Portsmouth, R.I. She is survived by Husband Joseph Cordeiro DoVale of Portsmouth, RI, Four Nieces and one Nephew. Her funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 5, 2004 at 9:00 AM from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Saint Marys Cemetery, Bristol, R.I.
