Mary Angelina Jacome

Middletown, - Mary Angelina Nunes Jacome, 79, of 24 Gunning Court, Middletown, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at the Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI.She was the wife of the late Raymond Jesse Jacome. Born in Middletown, RI, on March 31, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Octavio and Rose Dutra Nunes. Mrs. Jacome was a Communicant of Jesus Saviour Church and a member of the church Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Vasco Da Gama Society of Jesus Saviour Church. She had been a member of the Middletown Senior Citizens Center. Mrs. Jacome had also been a volunteer with the Rhode Island Blood Drive. She is survived by a son Raymond J. Jacome Jr. of Brighton, TN, two daughters Rosemary Jackson of Glen Allen, VA, and Linda Ann Gerjets of Bristol, RI, a brother Frank Nunes of Middletown, RI, two sisters Rose MaKeever of Middletown, RI, and Laura Murphy of Portsmouth, RI, 8 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late John Nunes. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at 8:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport.
