Newport, RI - Mary Ann (Ryan) Liversedge, 87, of 15 Hall Avenue, Newport, RI, died on Monday, November 25, 2013, at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center, Newport.She was the wife of the late Charles Austin Liversedge. Born in Newfoundland, Canada, on April 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Nolan) Ryan. She is survived by her sons, David Francis Liversedge of New Bedford, MA, John James Liversedge and his wife Jo-Ann of Newport, and Richard Wayne Liversedge also of Newport, RI, her sister Christine Norman of Canada, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.She was the mother of the late Charles Austin Liversedge, Jr, and the sister of the late Joseph Ryan, Rose Cleary and Cecelia Jones. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours are omitted at the request of the family.
