Middletown, - Mary O?Brien Baker, of John Clarke Center Middletown, died in the Nursing Center Sunday May 25, 2003.She was the wife of the late Charles F. Baker. Born in Fall River, MA on May 13, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Bariquen OBrien. Mrs. Baker was a member of St. Josephs Church. She enjoyed walking and was an avid BINGO player.She is survived by seven sons Charles D. Baker, and George H. Baker both of Middletown, RI, Thomas W. Baker, Raymond Baker and Michael S. Baker all of Newport, RI, Frederick Baker and Robert Baker both of Fall River, MA, four daughters Dorothy Sinnott of Portsmouth, RI, Jerrie Gross of SC, Geneille Baker of Newport, RI, and Jane K. Gambrell of Middletown, RI, her brother Frederick OBrien of NY, twenty seven grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late James Baker and Delores Knudsen.Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2003, at 8:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in St. Josephs Church, Broadway and Mann Avenue, Newport.
