Mary "Betty" Vierra

Newport, RI - Mary Elizabeth "Betty" (Wilson) Vierra, born December 4, 1929, entered into eternal rest on August 20, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Kathryn (Fitzgerald) Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred F. Vierra of 52 years and her sisters Kathryn Coggeshall, Ann Garifalon, Joan Lyons and Winnie Silvia and her brother Harry Wilson. She is survived by daughters Mary E. Vierra and Ellen Michael and her husband Gary of Newport, Ann Tetrault and her husband Al of Middletown and her son Brian Vierra and his wife Heather of Warwick, she had five grandchildren and six great grandchildren and her brother James Wilson. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014, from 2-5pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 25th, 2014, at 10:00 AM, in St. Marys Church, Spring Street, Newport.
