Mary Catherine Hering

Newport, - Mary Catherine Eberl Hering, 95, a resident of the Sakonnet Bay Manor, Tiverton, formerly of Newport, died Saturday, January 10, 2004 at the facility. She was the wife of the late Paul Otto Hering. Born in Traunstein, Germany, on May. 13, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Josef Eberl and the late Katherine Karl Eberl. Mrs. Hering formerly resided in Washington, NJ, and moved to Newport in 1994. She was an avid gardener and an animal lover. She also thoroughly enjoyed reading and baking. While living in Washington, NJ, she was a member of several senior citizens organizations.She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Aguiar of Newport, RI; a grandson, Stefan Klaus and a nephew, Ludwig EberlShe was a sister of the late Josef Eberl, Ludwig Eberl, Elizabeth Eberl, and Katherine Eberl.
