Mary Elizabeth Lambert

Newport, RI - Mary Elizabeth Lambert, 90, of 45 Park Holm, Newport, RI, died Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Newport Hospital, in Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Granville W. Lambert. Born in New York, NY, on April 14, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Hattie Roma Fusco. She is survived by her son Michael Lambert of Providence, RI, her daughter Maryanne Craft of Newport, RI, and a brother James Fusco of New York, NY. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Carin Rikard of S.C., James Craft and Kim Harrington, both of Newport, RI, Shawnita Lambert of Newport, Victor Lambert of FL, Vonetta Lambert of Warwick, Eric Lambert and Catherine Lambert both of Fall River, MA, Matthew Lambert of West Warwick, Jeffrey Lambert of VA, and Rebecca Gillen of West Warwick, RI and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Lambert and two brothers Frank Fusco and Manuel Fusco. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2006, at 8:00a.m., from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00a.m., in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, from 5-8p.m., in the Memorial Funeral Home.
