Mary Eva DeVeau Favro Portsmouth, RI - Mary Eva DeVeau Favro, 88, of 136 Cedar Avenue, Portsmouth, RI, formerly of 29 Norbert Street, Warren, RI, Bristol, RI, and Prudence Island, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence, RI. She was the wife of the late Ernest Raymond Favro. Born in East Providence, RI, on May 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Adele Thibodeau DeVeau.Mrs. Favro had worked as a winder for the former Premier Thread Company of Bristol, for 15 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bristol. She was also a member of the Reba Rebekah Lodge #12 of Bristol. Mrs. Favro enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved being around the water. She is survived by two daughters Rae A. Barker of Portsmouth, RI, and Yvette M. Pitts of Hendersonville, TN, a granddaughter Rachel Binette of Somerset, MA, and six great grandchildren Meaghan Barker, Jonathan Carney, P.J. Binette, Nicholas Binette, Emily Binette, and Noah Cabral. She was also the sister of the late Martin L. DeVeau and grandmother of the late Brenda M. Carney. Funeral services and burial will be private.
