Mary Irene Cairns

Portsmouth, RI - Mary Irene Prince Cairns, 95, of 333 Green End Avenue Middletown, RI formerly of 6 North Drive Portsmouth, died Monday, October 27, 2003 at Grand Islander Health Care Center Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late John Cairns. Born in Newport, RI on June 15, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Mertland and Margaret Liscomb Prince. Mrs. Cairn was a former member of the Portsmouth Multi Purpouse Senior Citizens Center also a member of the Portsmouth Senior Citizens Chorus. Two daughters Barbara Church of Bristol, RI, and Annette Massey of Victor, NY, four grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren survive her.She was the sister of the late Edward Prince, Mertland Prince and Annette Deane. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at 11:00am in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
