Mary L. Keough

Mary Loretta Keough, 98, of 27 Whitwell Ave, Newport, RI, formerly of Long Island, NY and Middletown, RI, died Sunday, May 20 at home. She was the wife of the late Francis S. Keough.Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 28, 1913. She enjoyed her time in the United Congregational Church in Middletown, as well as many days with friends playing pool at the Edward King Senior Center in Newport. Mary was formerly a member and Past Pocahontas of the Mineola Council of the Order of Red Men in Newport.She is survived by her son William H. Wills of Wantagh, NY, and her daughter Elizabeth "Betty" Nutt and her husband John of Newport, RI, and will be dearly missed by her 7 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 23 from 4:00-7:00pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 24, at 9:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 10:00am in United Congregational Church, 524 Valley Road, Middletown.
