Mary Louise Netter

Mary Louise Netter, 86, of Harrison Ave, Newport, RI, formerly of Newton, MA, died Friday, November 2, 2007 at Village House Nursing Home, Newport, RI. She was the wife of Shelley Netter of Newport. Born in Durham, NC on July 16, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Etta Downey Royster. Mrs. Netter worked as a seamstress in the Boston area. She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Laraine Page and her husband Clarence of Newport, RI; as well as her sister in law Ella Jackson and her husband Alfred, also of Newport. A private graveside service will be held at Bluehill Cemetery in Braintree, MA. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Mt. Zion AME Church, Building Fund, Van Zandt, Newport, RI 02840.
