Mary Margaret Spear

Middletown, RI - Mary Margaret Wells Spear, 62, of 969 West Main Road Middletown, formerly of Shenandoah, IA, died Thursday, January 6, 2005 at home. Born in Algona, IA on October 17, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Paul Herbert and Madeleine Ione Smith Wells. Mrs. Spear served in the United States Navy, during peacetime. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters Michelle Villacorta of Middletown, RI, and Suzanne Spear of Austin, TX, two sisters Kay Wells of Suioix City, IA, and Helen Hudgins of Liberty, MO, and two grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Richard Wells. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2005, 7:00 PM in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, Rhode Island Affiliate, 275 Westminster Street, Providence, RI 02903.
