Mary T. Petrucci

Mary T. Petrucci, 83, of 28 Connection St, Newport, RI, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was born on December 20, 1928. Mary worked for over 25 years in the jewelry business, all of them with Anson Jewelers in Cranston, RI. Her family was her greatest accomplishment, and she surrounded herself with children and grandchildren. Nanny took care of many children, and was frequently babysitting or volunteering with the cub scouts. She also enjoyed bowling, and participated in many leagues; and even in her later years, would watch bowling on tv.She is survived by daughters Patricia Malo of Newport, and Carla Tartaglia of Coventry, and a son Edward J. Petrucci of Johnston, and grandchildren Tina Tartaglia, Alecia Tartaglia, Jessica Tartaglia, Joseph Malo and his wife Andrea, Kenji Petrucci, and Michiya Petrucci, and great grandchildren Alexias Arsenault, Adrianna Arsenault, and Mia Malo.Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 18 from 5:00-8:00 in the Memorial Funeral Home.Her funeral will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 11:00am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
