Maryann Griffo

Tiverton, RI ? Maryann Cahir Griffo, 67, of 34 Lawton Avenue, Tiverton, died Thursday, November 28, 2002 at home.She was the wife of the late Leonard Paul Griffo. Born in Providence, RI on August 20, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Henry T. Cahir and Anne Brooks Cahir. She was a communicant of St. Christopher?s Church, Tiverton. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Rhode Island College in 1957. She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen M. Sullivan of Danbury, CT, Michaela M. Fisher of Brookfield, CT, and Jennifer Adams of Bloomfield, CT; two brothers, Thomas H. Cahir of South Bend, IN, and Michael B. Cahir of Arlington, VA; and four grandchildren.. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2002, at 9:00am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Christopher?s Church, 1584 Main Road, Tiverton.Burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
