Maureen L. Last

Newport, RI - Maureen L. Last, 72, of 76 Broadway Newport, died Monday, July 28, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Michigan City, IN on May 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Webber Last.Maureen worked as a food server for 6 years at the US Naval Base. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Newport, the Easter Star Marguerite Chapter of Lebanon Oregon, the Kiwanis Aktion Club, the Looking Upwards Gold Club, the Board of Directors of Looking Upwards and a previous member of the Looking Upwards Human Rights Committee. She is survived by her longtime friend Dolores Belanger of Newport, RI, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late James T.R. Last. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2003, at 10:00AM, in First Presbyterian Church, Broadway And Everett, Newport. Burial will be private.
