Center Ossipee, NH ? Arthur ?Max? Hugo Unger III, 38, of 13 Barrington Circle, Center Ossipee, NH, formerly of Newport, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Sea aboard the boat Eulah McGrath. He was the beloved husband of Carrie Chase Unger. Born in Newport, RI, on March 21, 1968, he was the son of Roberta Pacheco Settle of Newport, RI and Arthur Unger II of Portsmouth, RI. Known by everyone as Max, he worked for Paul Bennett aboard the ?Hedy Brenna? out of Newport for 13 years, before moving recently to Center Ossipee, NH. There he was employed by Shafmaster Lobster Co of Portsmouth, NH on the boat Eulah McGrath. Max loved all kinds of music and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He especially enjoyed outdoor activities including camping and snowmobiling. He loved his family and was known by all of them for his early Saturday morning phone calls. Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughters Danielle and Taylor Unger of Newport, his son Damon Chase of New Hampshire, his brothers Gordon Unger of Newport, RI, Eric Unger of Bristol, RI, his sister Faith Unger of NC, and his brother Cameron Unger of Middletown, RI, his granddaughter Jada Hill of Newport, and many nieces and nephews and he is expecting his second grandchild. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2006, at 11:00a.m., in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2006, from 4-7p.m. in the Memorial Funeral Home.
