Maxine Irene Parker

Middletown, RI - Maxine I. Mann Parker, 74, of 100 Seascape Avenue, Middletown, RI, formerly of Woolsey Road, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of Charles Harold Parker. Born in Augusta, ME on June 17, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Edith Mann.Mrs. Parker enjoyed her family and loved to sew and make her children their clothes as well as cooking a good meal, especially her corn chowder. Beside her husband of 50 years, she is survived by her children Charles H. Parker, Jr. of Fall River, MA, Kenneth A. Parker of Newport, RI, Frederick A. Parker of Warwick, RI, Peggy Lee McLaren and her husband Sean Gordon McLaren of Zushi, Japan, Marzey Ruth Bernell and her husband Dale Bernell of Raymond, ME, her brother Elsworth Mann, Jr. of Augusta, ME, her sisters Christine Nole of Miami, FL, Pauline Landry of Homessassa Spring, FL, her grandchildren David Parker of Providence, RI, Dakota Parker of Warwick, RI, Bailey Irene McLaren and Jessie Ameila McLaren of Zushi, Japan, Corey Bernell, Tracey Bernell and Gina Bernell all of Raymond, ME, two great grandchildren, her niece and her nephew. She was the mother of the late Pearly Ann Parker. Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 21, 2007, from 5-7pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.Burial will be private.
