May Louise Sanford

Newport, RI - May Louise Sanford, 95, of Newport, RI, died Saturday, August 6, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown, RI.She was the wife of the late Donald Sanford. Born in Jamestown, RI on August 7, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mariah Hodinott Dorman.Mrs. Sanford was a member of the Golden Agers club. She loved to read and watch the Boston Red Sox on T.V., and in her younger days, loved gardening. She was an avid cat lover. She was a loving mother, grand mother and great grandmother, and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Martha Waluk of Newport, RI and her, granddaughters Margaret Paolo and her husband Nicholas of Middletown, Amy Waluk of Tiverton, and Melissa Waluk and her husband Steven of Colorado and her grandsons Michael Waluk and his wife Kristin of Pembroke, Ma Peter Waluk and his wife Cherie of Portsmouth and David Waluk and his wife Jean of Tiverton. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren Tyler Ferriera, May and Waverly Waluk, Ryan, John and Aidan Paolo, Jake, Luke and Rose Waluk.
