Michael C. Rodrigues

Middletown, RI - Michael Rodrigues, 34, of 25 Seascape Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at home. Born in Newport, RI, on August 1, 1977, he was the son of John E. Rodrigues of Middletown, RI and the late Theresa Silva Rodrigues. Michael spent time at the James L. Maher Center on a regular basis. He had a passion for food, spending time beading and enjoyed joking with his family. Besides his father, he is survived by his siblings, Steven Rodrigues of Dighton, MA, Christina Rodrigues, Diana McKenna and her husband Raymond and Christopher Rodrigues and his wife Kristy of Middletown, RI. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 26, 2011, from 4-7pm, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.His funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Jesus Savior Church, Broadway and Vernon Avenue, Newport.Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
