Michael Joseph Chille Middletown, RI - Michael Joseph Chille, 62, of 107 Wyndham Hill Road, Middletown, RI, died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. He was the husband of Patrice McKinley. Born in Newark, NJ, on March 22, 1948, he was the son of Constantine and the late Rose Rosa Chille.Michael owned and operated the S.R. Thorneycroft Garden Design Business, and was involved in numerous community horticultural activities, including Newport in Bloom. Previously, he had worked as a holistic counselor and as a teacher at both St. Michaels Country Day School and LaSalle Academy. Besides his wife of 22 years, he is survived by his two daughters, Julia Chille and Micaela Chille both of Middletown, RI, his brother Paul Chille of Saratoga Springs, NY, and his sister Mary Anne Chille of San Francisco, CA Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 8, 2010, from 4:00-7:00pm in the Memorial Funeral Home.His funeral will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 8:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery in Middletown.
