Tiverton, RI ?Michael Nedeau, of 95 Grinnell Avenue, Tiverton, RI, died peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2011, after a long fight for life.He was the husband of Annette Cotnoir Nedeau. Born in Orange, NJ, on June 8, 1956, he was the son of Edward and Helen Reynolds Nedeau of Middletown, RI. Michael was a graduate of Morris Catholic High School in 1974 in Denville, NJ. He then graduated from Paul Smith College in 1976 and the University of Rhode Island in 1981. With his education in computer programming, he began his career with a company that is now Lockheed Martin. He just completed 30 years of employment with the same firm. Mike also loved sports, he was a lifelong soccer player and coached in Tiverton youth leagues for several years. Golf became his favorite sport over the last few years, and enjoyed golfing at Montaup Country Club in Portsmouth. Michael was also a communicant of St. Christopher?s Church in Tiverton. Besides his wife of Annette of 30 years and his parents, he is survived by his daughters, Tracy Nedeau of and Katherine Gautreau Rob Gautreau both of Tiverton, his brothers Ed Nedeau Pam Allen of East Providence, RI and Joe Nedeau Jill Nedeau of Parkton, MD. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011, from 4-8pm in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at 9:00am from Connors Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Theresa?s Church, 265 Stafford Road, Tiverton.
