Middletown, RI - Michael O. Gibson, 57, of 342 Boulevard Middletown, died Friday, July 2, 2004 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on October 11, 1946, he was the son of the late Harold Tillinghast and the late Barbara Frances Sullivan Gibson. Mr. Gibson was a life long resident of Middletown. He was recently living at 73 Jiley Hill Road group home in Tiverton, RI. He is survived by his three brothers Peter D. Gibson of Middletown, RI, Harold T. Gibson, Jr. of Pawtucket, RI, and Shaun A. Gibson of Middletown, RI, and his two sisters Barbara E. Ripa of Middletown, RI, and Mary E. Destremps of Newport, RI, and Several Nieces Nephews.His funeral will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at 8:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, followed with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.
