Newport, - Mildred Adelia Adeline Kuiee, 77, of 65 Cowie Street Newport, formerly of Burnside Avenue, Newport, died Sunday, April 6, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on May. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Benjamin Baker and Mildred Edith Sprague Kuiee. Miss. Kuiee worked as a factory worker for the Naval Torpedo Station on Goat Island. She had also worked as a burner grinder at Quonset Point. Miss. Kuiee worked as an outreach worker for the Martin Luther King Center and she also worked for the Zayers and Newberrys department stores as a clerk. She volunteered at the Christian Action Center and the Martin Luther King Center, also the Newport Residence Council and was a board member for the Board of Tenants Affairs. She is survived by a son Bruce W. Kuiee of Newport, RI, 1 daughter Emily May Lewis of Sebring, FL, 7 brothers Robert R. Kuiee of Newport, RI, Andrew J. Kuiee of Newport, RI, Leroy B. Kuiee of Bennett, CO, John L. Kuiee of Bennett, CO, Benjamin B. Kuiee of Galivanis Ferry, SC, William G. Kuiee of North Kingstown, RI, Jack R. Kuiee of Middletown, RI, 1 sister Edith Emily Harvey of Matlock, WA, She also leaves Many Nieces And Nephews And Great Nieces And Nephews 6 Grandchildren And 5 Great Grandchildren.She was also the mother of the late Mildred Patricia ?Tinny?
