Bristol, - Richard Scott, 61, of Bristol, died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Heatherwood Nursing And Subacute Center in Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on Oct. 1, 1952, he was the son of the late Richard O Scott and Cecilia M(Silvia-Moniz) Scott. He is survived by his brother Stephen Scott of Bristol, RI , and his Uncles Walter Spicer and his wife Rita, Duane Frank and his wife Flora, Philip Mello and his cousins, Walter Spicer and Kathryn Vieira, and many friends. He loved sports and the Boston Red Sox. His favorite holiday was Christmas, and loved being with his family during the holidays.
