Robert Duncan Sinclair

Robert Duncan Sinclair, of West Main Rd, Portsmouth, died Monday, September 2, 2013 at Heatherwood Nursing And Subacute Center Newport, RI. Born in Fall River, MA on April 23, 1931 he was the son of the late Duncan Sinclair and Ethel (Abrams) Sinclair. Robert worked as a car salesman for many local dealers, including the former Viking and Bove Dealerships. He also worked for over 10 years as the produce manager at Almacs Supermarket. Robert enjoyed golf at Green Valley Country Club and going on a drive to explore Cape Cod, especially with his companion Annie Becker. He is survived by son Bruce Sinclair and his wife Linda of Westport, MA, a son-in-law Patrick Griffin of Little Compton, RI, and three grandchildren, Timmy, Robby, and Joyce Griffin, and 3 nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis (Montgomery) Sinclair, and his daughter Susan Griffin. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 4, at 11:00am in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Rd, Portsmouth. Burial will follow in Portsmouth Cemetery.
