Robert E. Pine Sr.Crystal River, Florida--Robert E. Pine Sr., 67, of Crystal River, Florida died suddenly on Monday, December 30, 2013 at his home.Born in Newport, RI on October 6, 1946, he was the son of the late Joseph Pine Sr. and Emily (Carvalo) Pine and step-son of Mary (Amaral) Pine. He was the husband of the late Beverly Pine. Robert was raised in Middletown, RI and worked for Stop Shop for 37 years, in the produce department. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served as a Sargent in the US Air Force. He enjoyed golfing with his wife Beverly and was a long time member of Montaup Golf And Country Club in Portsmouth, RI. He was a devoted and loving father. Robert loved classic cars and enjoyed classic car shows.Robert is survived by his son Robert E. Pine Jr., of Crystal River, Florida, and his brother Joseph A. Pine Jr. and his sister-in-law Mary A. Pine of Newport, RI. He is also survived by his niece and godchild Jennifer Pine LaBonte, his nephew Joseph A.
