Tiverton, - Russell J Grant, 93, of Tiverton, died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Hyde Park, MA on Aug. 28, 1921, he was the eldest son of the late Russell L. and Florence (Kingston) Grant. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years the late Ruth P. (Funk). He was the beloved father of his daughters; Dorothy A. Oakes and Florence M. Larson of North Attleboro, MA, Cynthia L. Keithan of Belfast, ME and his son James R. Grant and his wife Gail Grant of Port St. John, FL and the late Russell J. Grant, Jr. He is also survived by his grandchildren Peter A. Oakes and his wife Kristen of Tiverton, RI, Rachel A. Grant of North Attleboro, MA, John Keithan Jr. of West Warwick, RI, Crystal Keithan of Belfast, ME, Dan Grant and his wife Kelsey of Texas and Gina Kretschmer and her husband Chris of Texas, also his great-grandchildren, Derek Keithan, Shawn Kivlin, Amanda Gorman, Ivy-May Keithan, Amber Kivlin, Emily Oakes, Jennifer Gorman, Wayne Kivlin, Grace Grant, Patrick Terry, Ben Grant, Libby Grant and Jewelia Keithan. Beloved brother to, Dorothy Hann, the late Paul Grant, Robert Grant, James Grant, Richard Grant, Leroy Grant and George Grant. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.
