Lena Clare Sullivan

Lena C. Sullivan, 90, a resident of Portsmouth, RI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Grand Islander Health Care Center of Middletown, RI. Mrs. Sullivan was born January 16, 1923 in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Loretta C. Guadagni. She was the wife of the late Jeremiah Patrick Sullivan who died in 1992. She graduated from Rogers High School in Newport, RI in 1940. She worked for General Electric in Middletown, for 35 years. She is survived by her son, Jeremiah P. Sullivan Jr. of Portsmouth, RI, two grandchildren, Keira and Colin both living in Florida, her sister Carolyn Quarry of Middletown, RI and her brother Michael Guadagni of Middletown, RI. She is also survived by 6 nephews and 4 nieces.She was the sister of the late Edward Guadagni, Serafino "Sonny" Guadagni and the late Elizabeth Russell. Her funeral and burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Barnabas Church, Capital Campaign, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
