Marylou "Bunny" Schmidt

Portsmouth, RI - Mary Lou Schmidt, 79, of Portsmouth, RI, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Schmidt. Born in Racine, WI on April 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Theodore F. and Dorothy (Warner) Hall.Mrs. Schmidt was a member of the St. Marys alter guild for many years. She also volunteered for the American Red Cross for over 20 years and was involved in the Portsmouth Senior Center. She loved spending time with her family and was a loving and caring grand mother and mother. She is survived by her daughter Carrie S. Keeley and her husband Chris of Eureka, MO, her son Paul Schmidt and his wife Debbie of Manassas, VA, and her grandchildren, Jonathon and Timothy Schmidt of Manassas, VA and Maxwell and Hope Keeley of Eureka, MO. A graveside service will be held on Friday May 11, 2012 at 11:00 am in St. Mary's churchyard 324 E. Main Rd Portsmouth, RI.
